Proton exchange membrane fuel cells are a new energy technology with great potential due to advantages such as high efficiency and no pollution. The structure of the gas flow channels has profound impact on overall performance cell. Different channel geometries have their own disadvantages, good understanding influence these structures can provide reference for design improvement in various application contexts. Numerical models be used reasonable reliable tool evaluate operating structural parameters cell service time by simulating transport processes substances heat well electrochemical reactions inside optimisation design. This paper reviews recent proton cells, summarises analyses effect organises concludes efficient enhance PEMFC terms cross-section shape, length, width, number channels, baffle position.
